Our Mission
Arizona Young Voters Initiative is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to registering every eligible 18-25 year old in Arizona to vote, and increase participation with get out the vote efforts on election days.
- School Visitations – We will be visiting every high school in the state at least once a year to talk to students about the importance of voting and the ease of registration. If permitted by the school, we will set up kiosks with internet capable tablets to assist eligible students with registration. If permission is denied, we will plan an alternative location nearby as a meeting place.
- Mall Kiosks – We will be renting space inside shopping malls with registration kiosks.
- Door-to-door leaflets – We will be distributing leaflets with instructions on registering to vote online, including our toll free number to assist people.
- Registration drives – We plan on having annual conventions near the college campuses of Arizona State University, University of Arizona, and Northern Arizona University.
- Get Out The Vote – In addition to local advertising, social media postings, and mailers, we will also have volunteers available for transportation, and will be coordinating efforts to ensure that everyone gets a ride to their local polling place.
